Peter Dorner is my husband, and I have known him for 14 years. He has always been the analytical type and has taken all our family projects very seriously.
When it was E Stime to replace one of our cars, he came up with a system to analyze and compare the cars we put on the list. First, we kept the ones we liked, and would consider buying, taking subjectivity out of the game at that point.
Then, he added different indicators to compare the cars, and rate them, such as the type of engine, year, monthly maintenance cost, insurance cost, deprecation, and consumer rating [by Consumer Report]. We obviously had a budget in mind, so after reducing the number of cars to the ones we could afford, it was down to a manageable amount of vehicles we test-drove, and made our final decision.
This system not only made our car-purchasing experience very systematic, but also fun, by not getting us overwhelmed. By documenting everything made it easy for us to look back at the different cars and compare them side-by-side.
Car buying can be very trying for a family, but my husband made it easy for all of us.
Marta (mother, English as a second language)
The use of computers by the public became more common from the mid-1990s. The knowledge needed to use a computer could be acquired in the framework of paid courses in larger cities. A charity was created in Pomaz to help children of preschool and school age. At the charity, they received psychotherapeutic care, pedagogical development, school preparation sessions, and physical activity development. The organization performed its administration on a computer. In addition to their work, professionals with various qualifications, whose workplaces did not yet have computers, performed voluntary work. Peter gave a course on the use of the computer provided to them within the framework of the organization. As part of the course, in addition to technical use, he also taught the use of the Windows program to the teacher, retired teacher, psychologist and technical employee participating in the course. The course was free for both the participants and the foundation, and Peter taught in his spare time. The foundation was able to provide the place and the machines. The participants studied on Saturday mornings. Both they and Peter used time from their free time for training. After completing the course, administration and writing reviews became possible for everyone using the computer. Later, with the generalization of computer use, the participants were also able to profitably use their knowledge at work.

You are a good friend who believes in God and this has always pushed me to being even closer with you. The way you respect along with adore God in your daily life as well as activities is something that makes me admire your way of life. You are always involving God in your daily activities and this has helped you grow and push even further in your life and work. Nonetheless, I love the way you treasure all your friends and above all equally without any form of discrimination. I have seen you interact with other friends who are totally different from each other and you accommodated them in the same just and fair way that it should be. Being your friend has taught me that it is always good to treasure and appreciate everyone in ones life that our paths cross because nobody knows what tomorrow holds thus the need to treat everyone with respect, love and kindness. You are a very important friend in my life and this is a good motivation for others to be good people to others in their presence and in their absence.

When I was younger, Peter, you were my best friend and would always be there for me when I needed it. We went through thick and thin together, and I always knew that you would be there for me when I needed you. You were always there for a laugh and a good time, and I knew that I could always count on you. It was during our freshman year of college when things started to change between us. We both went through major changes in our lives, and things just didn't seem to be the same between us. We would fight about the smallest things and it was hard to keep a friendship going like that. But even though things were tough between us, I knew that you still cared about me. And eventually, things started to get better between us. We laughed more, and we just enjoyed being around each other.

You are very polite and courteous friend. I love the way you greet and handle everyone despite their age with so much politeness. You are always quick to be the first one to offer a helping hand even when everyone else considers it impossible. You make everything look beautiful and easy. This is a character that has helped you become a better person in life. I remember back in high school when in our classroom, there was a boy who used to bully you for no good reason and all you could do at all times is to be kind and polite. Not at any time did you revenge nor be rude to him. In the long term , the outcomes were beautiful. Your kindness made this boy hate himself for what he used to do to you and others in the classroom and he changed for good. He transformed so much that he was always the one who was helping other people to understand the importance of kindness as well as politeness in their life while interacting with others. Your way of treating others is a good way that has taught me that one does not have to be rich in money to be kind but it takes someone rich in heart to transform the world.
Steve (friend)
You are a courageous friend. You always handle everything with so much confidence that it makes me get challenged to do complex things with the same zeal and confidence. You have taught me , through your character, that having confidence makes us feel more prepared for the challenges of life. Confidence makes us less likely to shrink from new relationships and chances, and more willing to embrace them. When our first attempts at something are unsuccessful, we can have the confidence to try again. When confidence is low, the opposite holds true. Moreover, I love the way you are a fun person. You always make jokes that make one have a good mood even when they are low. This is a good thing as it helps one become happy even at their low times. Your sense of humor is something that I cherish from you because I am always sure of a good time and laughter when I am around you. I love the fact that you are not a boring friend since this makes one not have a good time while interacting with such a person.
Victoria (previous work peer)
Your patience level is always a good thing. I know not many times people appreciate people who are patient enough in their daily lives but for sure your patience trait is one that is recommendable. It is vital to note that it is your patience that has helped you understand other people in the office as well as solve issues that arise in the workplace. The way you handle things in a swift and step by step process is always a good thing that I can say has helped even most of the people in the office to learn how to respect each other. Your patience helps other people to express themselves even better without fear nor rush and they always become the best in character and in heart. Moreover, I love the way you embrace diversity as well as inclusion in the workplace. The current era is one that is characterized by diversity along with inclusion and for you, you always work with everyone in the same way and with the same level of respect despite their cultural, gender, religion or societal differences. This is a good thing as it has improved productivity in the workplace.

You are a very ambitious individual. Goal-setting and progress can be challenging. Trying to pin down what you want to achieve is a difficult task in and of itself. Then, it requires a lot of time, effort, and persistence to realize them. This implies that many individuals give up on their goals before they are even halfway there, but you have always kept your sights set on the goals. Also your desire gives you the internal motivation to work towards long-term goals and to keep setting new goals once you’ve achieved initial success. This is the kind of zeal that I have always wanted all my life. It is hard to be the level of ambitious that you are and for that I respect you so much because your efforts should not go unrewarded. It is vital to understand that you have always been my role model when it comes to setting goals as well as objectives and having a deadline for accomplishing them. I always love working around you because I always find my productivity levels going even higher when I am working with you.

I can't speak for everyone, but when I was working with you Peter, you were always at your best. You were organized, efficient, and always had a quick answer for any question. You were a great team player – and you were always willing to help out and put in extra effort. I always had great respect for you, and I'm sure that everyone else did too. At some point, you decided to take an early retirement and I was really surprised and saddened by it. I know you are doing well now and I'm glad you are happy and healthy. I have always liked your work ethics. You always had a solution and would always know how to get things done. For example, I remember when we were working on a project and there were some technical difficulties. You would always able to find a workaround and get the project done on time. You would then go above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. As years go by, I realize more and more how much I miss you. You left an indelible mark on my life, and I'm grateful for the time we spent working together.

He is equally gifted in project planning and document assembly when it comes to Windows Servers. He provides well based professional opinions in each area he is involved with. It was a pleasure working with him over this past year and hoping to see his work in the future as well. He is always more than welcome back in my team.
Ismar (current work peer)
I remember this one project we were working on together that was important to the company. You were always so calm and collected, no matter how much pressure we were under. You helped to keep the team focused and on track. Your positive contribution was your leadership and ability to keep everyone calm under pressure. I was most proud of when he could help me get up to speed on a project with his thorough knowledge, skipping the usual trial-and-error that would be involved at this stage. I know he has my back, and I can count on her whenever I need it. I loved when he went out of her way to break bread with me and listen to what I had going on in my life, knowing that not everyone is open about these things. He’s a wonderful person, and I'm proud to know him.
John (current manager)
Peter, you were and are my best employee who has always been the most determined person I know. When we were first introduced, you were the only one in our group of friends who didn't give up after the first few tries. You were always the one who was pushing yourself to do better, and you were always the one who was the most successful. You are now a successful businessman, and you were always the one leading the charge. You always work hard to improve yourself and your life, and I know that you were always going to be one of the most successful people in the world. I am truly proud of your accomplishments, and I know that you are going to continue to be a great friend and an amazing person. For years, you been one person who has always been there for me, and I am truly grateful for our professional friendship. Peter selected from 60+ applications to a freshly established windows engineering team due to his extensive technical and coordination experience. He shortly became a key member proving each word in his CV which is already exceptional in the market. He is fearless to improve/change things by getting rid of useless legacy stuff after verifying, identifying and implementing new solutions.Key strengths: technical hands-on knowledge on enterprise server environment + fair, cooperative work style + open communication.
John #3 (current manager)
You are always a determined individual who knows what they need to do to achieve their personal as well as professional goals. You are very hardworking and I always enjoy working with you on challenging tasks because you always end up conquering any difficulties that emerge out of such situations. This has made your colleagues to love taking up complex tasks so that they can challenge themselves and their capabilities as well. Your determination to become good at what you do has not only helped you get numerous promotions in the company but it has helped our organization to attain a higher competitive advantage in the market which I can proudly say that the competitive edge we have in the market right now, we as a company attribute it largely to your efforts and skills. You are also one who likes to be updated on current affairs and this has helped our company to fight competition from rivalries and to stay in line with the emerging trends in the industry. Your knowledge in information technology is also a good thing that I admire because you always advise on the best software and updates for the company to maintain its competitive edge.

Peter, we went through so many highs and lows together and I always had total faith in you. You were always so optimistic and happy, no matter what was going on. You were always the life of the party and you were great at making people laugh. You were always so friendly and would do anything for your neighbors. You are always a great role model for me and I always look up to her. You were always so positive and you helped me to be the person that I am today. I remember on time when my dog got lost and you were the first person to come over and help me find her. You were so supportive and always there for me. I will always remember the good times that we shared and I am grateful to have such a great friend like you. At some point we could argue about basketball or something trivial, and I would know that we were still friends. Our parents would tell us that we were twins and that we always knew what the other was thinking. But I always knew that was only because we were always there for each other.
Atma #2 (Neighbor)
I like the way you are always kind and caring. For the time that we have lived in the same neighborhood, I can attest that you are such a good soul and you are always willing to help other people when they are in need without asking for anything in return which for me is a good and true definition of a good neighbor. One good example of how kind you are is when I was in bed of financial help and I called you at that time that I was down, it was during COVID-19 pandemic, and despite the issues that people were going through you picked my call. You did not hesitate to help me with the little savings you had without questioning my credit ability. Moreover, you are honest. You are always telling the truth at all times no matter what and this has helped many people in the neighborhood to be honest as they realize the importance of honesty in their daily interactions. I love your bold nature because the world needs such people for harmony along with peace to be attained in all areas of life.
Andrew (Neighbor)
When our dogs got out, he was there with a bag of treats to help get them back home safely. We were able to restore order by working together. Finding it hard to get out of bed on his day off, I'm proud that he took the initiative to get me up and out with him, whether we went for a run or just walked the dog. It was a joy to spend time with him out of the office, and I’m proud of how he’s turned his life around.
You were always so helpful when shoveling out our driveway or walking our dog when we were away. You went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Your positive contribution was your willingness to help and your thoughtfulness.
Barbara (Neighbor)

He is always willing to help with anything, and he always has a smile. Peter is a great team member, and I am proud to have him as my neighbor. He is always organized and efficient, always able to get the work done quickly and efficiently.
