Short Writing Assignment # 1:  Critique of a Policy Brief

Using a Policy Brief Checklist, Critique a Policy Brief Use the policy brief checklist to critique one of the provided sample policy briefs. Some of the briefs are good and some are not very effective. All have faults and could be better. Some of the problems are not policy problems and some of the levels and jurisdictions may not be applicable to solve this particular problem. Fill out the policy brief checklist to provide summary examples and your assessment of the brief. You will be assessed on how closely you critiqued the brief and if you identified all the mistakes within it.
